How was Pink Blush Beauty Lab born?
I began my esthetics career in 2018 as a college student, when I developed my Pink Blush (PB) brand. What started off as an avid interest quickly became a passion for all things beauty and enhancements. Waxing came into the picture a few years later. I knew I wanted to do a deeper dive into the beauty industry, and waxing is something that’s piqued my interest since I was a teenager.
Today I’m the owner of Pink Blush Beauty Lab (PBBL), were we offer a multitude of beauty and personal enhancement services for women daily, as well as one-on-one workshops/tutorials in both makeup and waxing for new and seasoned professionals.
What’s the Pink Blush Beauty Lab approach?
It always strikes me as odd when skin care companies claim their line is “suitable for all skin types,” when all skins have different needs. I’m fascinated by all the advancements in the industry, which are evolving all the time! There’s still so much to be learned, and continuing education is a must. Beauty magazines, books, shows, webinars, classes, and websites – opportunities to add to and enhance the figurative tools in your kit are truly endless.
What inspires Pink Blush Beauty Lab?
What inspires me most about my work is how emotionally rewarding it is. Making people look and feel good makes me happy! Every appointment is new, fresh, and exciting, with each client acting as my canvas. Everyone has different concerns about their skin, a wax, or even makeup, so it’s never the “same old, same old.” I love addressing all aspects of skin care, from acne to extracting ingrown hairs and blackheads to making oily skin look pristine for a fresh makeup look. No two people are alike – that makes my work extremely exciting and keeps me on my toes.
What’s your goal for Pink Blush Beauty Lab?
I’d like to see PBBL expand into a beauty and personal care supercenter, where women and men can experience a wide range of services with fantastic estheticians, working in a warm and welcoming environment. Delivering premier service and expertise to my clients is my number one priority – all day, every day.
